Arturo Garcia
Arturo Garcia, born in Mexico, grew up both in Mexico and Spain.
After graduating with honors from The National School of Plastic Arts, “San Carlos” Mexico DF, Arturo began his career exhibiting in Mexico under the support and guidance of the celebrated Mexican Author, Carlos Monsivais.
He then moved to California and completed his studies with David Hardy. Recognized as a preeminent classical realism painter, Arturo moved to New York City, with a determined desire to perfect his painting technique.
In Manhattan he became affiliated with “The Water Street Atelier” under the mentorship and leader of Jacob Collins.
Almost immediately after Arturo’s first exhibit in the USA, art collectors recognized the value and uniqueness of his work. Arturo’s paintings include still-lifes, landscapes, floral, interiors andfigurative works.
